United Canceling Flights from Springfield to Washington D.C. |
United Airlines says it will be ending its flights between Springfield's Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport and Washington, D.C., as of July 4.
United officials say declining passenger numbers on the flights in the last six months contributed to the end of the daily flight, which will be rerouted to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. |

One Jacksonville Man Dead after Car Crash |
An 81-year old Jacksonville man died friday after his vehicle rolled on mount avenue, Police say.
Gilbert Todd was proounced dead at 1:10 pm. Police say he sustained severe injuries in the accident.
